Ian poulter
Ian has been attached to the club as Touring Professional since 2003 during which time he has been a great ambassador for Woburn Golf Club. He made a successful Ryder Cup debut in 2004 as part of Bernhard Langer’s victorious European Team. He then won the season ending Volvo Masters, defeating home favourite Sergio Garcia in a play-off, to secure his sixth European Tour title and following this, he won the 2006 Madrid Open and at the end of 2007, The Dunlop Phoenix Tournament in Japan and is in the top 25 in The World Rankings.
In July 2007 Ian launched The Ian Poulter Design clothing range which is proving extremely popular. An extensive selection is stocked in the Woburn Professional Shop and includes the Woburn logo as worn by Ian.
Ian is extremely supportive of Junior Golf and in 2008 for the third consecutive year, with the support of his sponsors, Woburn will be hosting the Ian Poulter Junior Invitational.
